DBA in Healthcare Management (DBAHCM)
The European Institute of Management and Technology's Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) in Healthcare Management is a doctoral program designed to equip healthcare professionals, administrators, and leaders with advanced knowledge, research capabilities, and analytical skills to address complex challenges within the healthcare sector. Unlike master’s programs, the DBA emphasizes the practical application of theory to real-world healthcare issues, with a strong focus on organizational effectiveness, innovation, quality improvement, and long-term sustainability in healthcare systems.
This flexible yet rigorous program is delivered entirely online, allowing students to progress at their own pace depending on the chosen pathway—coursework or research. While most students complete the program within one and a half years, the research pathway may enable some to qualify sooner.
The DBA in Healthcare Management emphasizes applied research, enabling students to implement their learning directly within their healthcare organizations. The program is designed to build expertise across healthcare policy, quality management, strategic leadership, and innovation, while enhancing essential skills in research, academic writing, data interpretation, and evidence-based decision-making.
Upon completion of the program, students will gain expertise in advanced research methods, health and social care leadership, healthcare economics, healthcare policies, advanced management, financial management in healthcare, and organizational behavior.
