Principles of Health Education

The programme introduces the principles of health promotion, behavior change, and community engagement, enabling learners to contribute effectively to health awareness campaigns and initiatives. Participants will develop an understanding of communication strategies in health education and the role of cultural, social, and behavioral factors in health outcomes. Emphasis is placed on preventive healthcare, lifestyle modification, and the application of health education in various settings. Learners will also be introduced to the basics of planning, implementing, and evaluating health education programs. The course prepares participants for both entry-level professional roles and further studies in nursing, public health, and allied health sciences.

The course will commence in the first week of November.
